ʻO ke kahua ma mua, ma hope ke kūkulu.
First the foundation and then the building.
Learn all you can, apply what you have learned,
and practice.
ʻŌlelo Noʻeau

Mo'olelo
Ola I Ka Hā, is a virtual culturally based educational program for all ages.
Our mission is to provide cultural knowledge and traditions to Kanaka Maoli, Pacific Islanders and those raised in Polynesian homes/environments.
We aim to expand our community in the Pacific Northwest and globally by inviting guest Kupuna and other community leaders to help spread the knowledge.
By educating our Kamali'i, ʻŌpio, Makua, and Kupuna traditionally we can start to decolonize our way of life and value our lineage. In our educational programs we will be rediscovering our Inner Mana through Kanaka Maoli (Native Hawaiian) traditions, culture, and educating ourselves on our expansive history.
This program is for those feeling displaced and yearning for a connection to home, away from home.
